Indianapolis, IN – July 18, 2018— Independent Stationers, an industry leading nationwide member-owned business products cooperative, announces its Boost Product Marketing Program.

In recognition of the shift from print to digital marketing, Independent Stationers has developed Boost to replace its traditional print catalog in 2019.  Boost will provide the group’s vendor partners with the opportunity to enhance the visibility of key branded products on IS Shareholders’ websites. 

“We are excited to offer this solution to our vendors and shareholders.  The shift from a static printed catalog to a dynamic program that can adjust with our partners’ unique goals is a significant enhancement.  The vendor response to this progressive move has been encouraging,” said Ty Blankenbaker, Director of Merchandising.

Casey Avent, President of Smead Manufacturing, concurred, saying, “As a manufacturer, it is increasingly important to have partners that approach us with new ideas and new ways to increase our brand’s presence in the market place.”  In addition to working closely with manufacturers on Boost, Independent Stationers has also engaged the channel’s wholesalers to provide a turn-key solution.  Specifically, IS and SP Richards have reached an agreement whereby SPR will help IS Shareholders implement Boost on their websites that lead with its content.  “We are thrilled to work with Independent Stationers to support our mutual customers’ marketing and sales goals,” said Jack Reagan, Sr. Vice President of Merchandising at SP Richards.
